This course is designed to build the student's knowledge from beginner to the moderate skill level for operator use and marksmanship. This course will go over all points of firearm safety, storage, the history of the AR-15 platform, parts identification & operation, disassembly/reassembly, maintenance, proper cleaning techniques, ammunition, magazines and proper care for the magazines, loading/unloading/clearing, react and clear malfunctions, shooting fundamentals, how to properly zero and make sight adjustments and battle sight zero.

Students will need to bring an AR-15 style rifle, magazines and 100 rounds of ammunition for live fire qualification at the range. Students will pay for the range fees. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be given a certificate of completion. The course will run 8 hours and the maximum number of students is 6.  The cost for this course is $60.00 per student.  Preregistration is required for this course! 

The AR-15/M4 Marksmanship Course is the progressive step up from the Basic Course.  Students interested in this course will be graduates of the Basic course or show proficiency in the use of AR-15 platform rifles.  The course will start with a quick review of zeroing techniques to make sure everyone is zeroed correctly.  Topics for this course will cover:  Ammunition types, trajectory, internal/external & terminal ballistics, immediate action drills in light & dark conditions, Range estimation, methods used to read and gauge wind, in-depth marksmanship fundamentals for daylight and nighttime/low light situations, sight deviation and much more.

Prepay for the AR-15/M4 Marksmanship Course:

The AR-15/M4 Home Defense Course is an advanced course.  Students interested in this course will be graduates of the Marksmanship course or show proficiency in the use of AR-15 platform rifles.  Students will learn how to utilize their AR-15 platform rifles for self defense inside the home.  Students will take the knowledge and skills learned from the basic course, the marksmanship course, knowledge gained in this course and have the confidence to use their AR-15 platform rifle, or any other firearm, as a means of self defense inside their habitation.

Students will learn to zero from the bench rest position and gain familiarization in the prone, kneeling and standing positions. The classroom materials will be provided for each student by the instructor. Students will need to bring an AR-15 style rifle, magazines and 50 rounds of ammunition for live fire qualification at the range.  Students will pay for the range fees. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be given a certificate of completion. The course will run 6-8 hours and the maximum number of students is 6.  The cost for this course is $60.00 per student.  Preregistration is required for this course!

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be given a certificate of completion. The course will run 8-10 hours and the maximum number of students is 4.  The cost for this course is $150.00 per student.  Preregistration is required for this course!
